There were three remarkably close matches and one not so close, in last Saturday’s Cowra Open Grade Men’s Triples Quarter Finals.
Winners on the day were Greg Nicholl’s team over Shane Egan’s team 20/19, Joe Burgin’s team over Bruce Thurtell’s team 20/16, John Bischof’s team over Nev Connor’s team 19/15 and Shane Beasley’s team over Bob Morgan’s team 29/15.
The semi-final matches have been postponed until Saturday 22nd February.
Sunday was the second semi-final of the Cowra Open Mixed Fours, which saw Joe Burgin’s team defeat Mike Baldwin’s team on an extra end.

Congratulations to everyone that bowled extremely well on the weekend, including 14 social bowlers on Sunday.
Upcoming Matches and Events.
The first round of Mid-West Open Gender Pennants will be played on Sunday 20th February, with Cowra Grades 5 and 7 travelling to Canowindra and Grade 6 travelling to Caragabal.
The Autumn 2025 Business House Bowls will commence 20th February, we currently have 34 teams entered, but are looking for more, so please contact the Club or Bob Morgan on 0481.244.081 or cowrabowlsoffice@bigpond.com to enter your team.
The first round of the Cowra Men’s Club Singles has been postponed until Saturday 8th March, entries close Friday 28th February.
