Welcome to the 2025 school year! We also extend a warm welcome to all of our new families who have joined the Cowra Public School community this year and are sure they will love their time at our wonderful school.
2025 CPS Swimming Carnival
Last week was our annual School Swimming Carnival. The weather was perfect and our House Captains – Douglas Chase and Chris Oliver (Myall), Jackson Smith and Lily White (Wandoo), Max Ukalovic and Will Ingram (Kurrajong) and Bella O’Malveney and Isaac Cornwell (Brigalow) did a wonderful job leading their Houses throughout the day. Students participated in both competitive races and novelty events, ensuring there was a balance of fun and competition for all!
A huge thank you to Mrs Louise Hattenfels for her organisation of the day, Mr Chris Rowston for being our stroke judge, Cowra High School students and CPS parents who assisted with timekeeping and Cowra Swimming Club and the Cowra Aquatic Centre for the use of their equipment and ensuring the pool was in perfect condition. Congratulations to the following students who were named 2025 Age Champions:

The CPS District Swim Team will compete at the Cowra District PSSA Swimming Carnival in Grenfell on Wednesday 26th February.
