Cowra’s Ellie Thompson will be heading off to university with an extra boost of support, after being awarded the Henley Trust University Scholarship for 2025.
Ms Thompson was awarded $10,000 from Cowra Rotary on behalf of the Tom and Margaret Henley Trust.
“We wish Ellie all the best in her university education journey and extend those wishes to all of the outstanding candidates and hope they all enjoy their time at University and excel in their chosen fields,” Rotary President Ian Docker shared online.
“A big thank you to the Tom and Margaret Henley Trust and David Henley whose generosity make this annual scholarship possible.”
The scholarship is awarded to students attending their first year of university, to encourage more high school graduates to pursue a tertiary education.
