The Local Court has made an order restricting a young Cowra man from being in town unless he is in the company of his mother or an adult approved by his mother.
Jauwarna Cutmore, 19, who now resides in Orange appeared in Cowra Local Court on November 27, 2024 when the order was made.
Cutmore was before the court charged with take and drive motor vehicle without consent, enter enclosed lands, knowingly carried in a stolen conveyance and receiving stolen property (a car key).
The charges related to the theft of motor vehicles in Parkes Street, Cowra and West Street, Wattamondara.
In addition to the Cowra restriction order Cutmore was placed on a 12 month Community Corrections Order, fined $1200 and ordered to pay $500 compensation.

He was also before the court charged with affray.
Prior to his Local Court appearance Cutmore had spent 74 days in an adult jail for the affray offence as well as three months and 22 days in home detention.
Magistrate Rana Daher, prior to sentencing Cutmore, told the court “I have to take into account time served”.
“I think he’s served enough time,” Ms Daher said before placing Cutmore on an 18 month Community Corrections Order on the affray charge.
On a breach of a Community Corrections Order Ms Daher took no action.
Police documents revealed the theft of the motor vehicle from Wattamondara was captured on CCTV with Cutmore and two young people he was with at the time able to be identified.
Cutmore, police said, was arrested at his home.
“Due to the accused’s aggressive nature whilst in custody police did not deem it suitable to offer him the opportunity to participate in an electronically recorded interview,” it was stated in the documents.
Cutmore’s affray charge arose following an incident on the Cowra bridge in the early hours of July this year.
Cutmore was with two other people at the time, with the three approaching two others.
“At one stage all three co-offenders were involved in the physical altercation against the two victims,” police said.
When arrested, police said, Cutmore denied the offence.
