Peer Support at Mulyan

Peer support is a much-loved program at Mulyan and has been for many years.

It involves the whole school and every group has students from all year groups.

It builds leadership skills, develops social skills and creates positivity across the school.

The smiles, the laughs and the connections made make it a meaningful experience for all.

Year 6 have worked hard with Mrs Kerr and Mr Ryan to build their skills to ensure they are ready to lead their groups.

The composure they have shown helps their peers to feel comfortable and assured when completing each task.

They are supportive, caring and great role models to their peers.

You can see their confidence growing with each week.

The variety of activities offers new experiences and the tools to positively navigate new relationships.

The students have completed Eddy the Eagle jigsaw puzzles, science-based craft, card games and sport activities.
