St Raph’s has made significant progress in the last three years, focusing not only on cosmetic improvements and capital works, but also on developing its learning and systems to become a "School of First Choice." Wellbeing is a priority, with refined structures aimed at supporting student learning gains. The school has shifted from disciplinary measures to promoting positive behaviors for learning, rewarding students for their dedication.
In 2024, St Raph's students achieved impressive academic results, including multiple Band 6s, Distinguished Achievers, scholarships, and early university offers. The school continues to emphasize academic rigor and improvement, supported by the leadership team and educators working collaboratively.
This year, St Raph’s has introduced extension programs for gifted students and a VET course for Years 9 and 10, helping students build portfolios for future careers. Additionally, the school boasts achievements including a total of 8 Gold Duke of Edinburgh awards in 2024, and significant impacts in the sporting arena.
St Raph’s is also expanding globally, with the 1 year Seikei student exchange program to Japan commencing this year, and another tour of 12 of our students travelling to Shiroishi and beyond in October.
Overall, 2025 is expected to be another year of growth, remarkable learning and success for our school.
