"Caiden's Corner"
At the end of Term 1, Cowra Public School tragically lost one of its students. Caiden Hussell was a kind and caring Year 4 student in Bilbi class, who had been a student at CPS since Kindergarten. Recently, the school honoured Caiden, with the opening of “Caiden’s Corner” by Caiden’s Ma, Trish Hussell. Designed by Caiden’s teachers and classmates, and built by our General Assistant, Mr Sproule, “Caiden’s Corner” is an inviting place in our Primary playground, where students can sit and play Uno, which was something that Caiden loved to do at school with his friends. Caiden’s memorial is a beautiful tribute to his life and “Caiden’s Corner” will forever be a cherished space in our school.
Schools Spectacular – “All 4 One”!
Last week our Stage 2 and Stage 3 "Schools Spectacular" Choir and Dance teams, headed down to Sydney with Mrs Oborn, Miss Pokoney, Mrs Cole and Mrs Hattenfels, for the 2024 Schools Spectacular. This year's Schools Spectacular theme was titled "All 4 One" and featured over 5500 students from Public Schools all across NSW. Amongst the many hours of rigorous rehearsals, students enjoyed sampling a taste of the city life prior to their performances on Friday and Saturday night! We congratulate them on this amazing achievement and hope they enjoyed the experience!
