The syllabus for the 71st Cowra Eisteddfod is now available online, with printed copies accessible at the Cowra Library, Council Office, and Tourist Office.
Entries are currently open for all sections of the Eisteddfod and can be submitted via www.stardom.com.au.
The deadline for entries is Monday, March 10, with no late entries accepted beyond this date.
The Eisteddfod caters to a wide range of disciplines, including Vocal, Instrumental, Speech and Drama, and Dance, with categories available for participants of all ages, from under 5s to adults.
The schedule for the 2025 Cowra Eisteddfod begins with Speech and Drama from May 7 to 10.
Latest Stories
Instrumental performances will take place from May 12 to 14, followed by Vocal sections from May 15 to 18.
The Dance section will run from May 19 to June 1.
The Eisteddfod will conclude with a Concert of Selected Prizewinners on Friday, June 6 at the Civic Centre.
The Cowra Eisteddfod Committee is thrilled to share that Eden Shifroni, winner of the Patricia Fagan Operatic Aria at the 2024 Eisteddfod, has been awarded the 2025 Alistair Jackson International Opera Award by the Melba Opera Trust.
This award, valued at $180,000, provides two years of tuition and living expenses to support Shifroni’s studies at the Royal College of Music (RCM) Opera Studios in London. She will begin her studies in September 2025.
The committee extends its heartfelt congratulations to Eden and is confident that all sponsors, supporters, and those who heard her perform at the 2024 Eisteddfod.
