The final of the Cowra Club Mixed Fours was a very closely fought match with Shane Egan, Joan Bailey, Russ Simpson and Dorcas Presnell overcoming a determined opposition in Joe Burgin, Leila Burns, Shane Lauritzen and Eileen Brown 18 shots to 16.
Congratulations to everyone that contested the event and especially so to Shane Egan’s victorious team.
Congratulations also to our Pennants Teams for their performance on Sunday.
Grade 6 were the only victors, defeating Caragabal 60 shots to 48, but Grade 5 had a narrow loss to Canowindra 54 shots to 60 and Grade 7 also went down to Canowindra 54 shots to 68.

This Sunday Grade 5 will travel to Parkes, whilst Grades 6 and 7 have a bye.
UPCOMING MATCHES AND EVENTS
The Autumn 2025 Business House Bowls will commence today, 20th February. Make sure you’re all there early and ready to play at 6.00pm.
The first round of the Cowra Men’s Club Singles will commence Saturday 1st March, entries close tomorrow 21st February.
This Saturday at 1.00pm, the semi-finals of our Open Grade Men’s Triples will be played, with Dave Antaw, Paul Druery and Greg Nicholls playing Shane Lauritzen, Russ Simpson and Shane Beasley, whilst Ken Porter, Rob Oliver and Joe Burgin are pitted against Kak Smith, Jim McNaught and John Bischof. Both matches should be very close contests.
