Framed with a reprieve from brutal weather lashing the state across the previous week, Cowra Jockey Club ushered in the first race event of 2025 going Troppo, with punters dressed in floral and island themes.

With TAB set up, bookmakers onside and a full bar and food van run by the Rotary Club of Cowra, there was more in store for attendees than just the prize money.

Those making special effort in the wardrobe department were rewarded with weather to match their island holiday attire. Although Fashions On The Field did not go ahead this year, attendees still took the opportunity to dress up and enjoy the first races of 2025 in great style.
