Load up the car and head out on a festive drive across Cowra, with festive cheer spreading across town. The Cowra Guardian has done the work so you don’t have to, creating a driving route highlighting some of the best and brightest Christmas light displays across our town.
Starting in North Cowra at 10 Kanangra Street, where Santa has had a bit of an accident, head down Binni Creek Road to enjoy the many Christmas lights adorning this busy street. Turn right at Comerford Street, waving hello to residents at Weeroona Aged Care centre, before turning right onto Redfern Street to see the lights at 116 Redfern.
Turn left onto Pridham Street, spotting a great set of decorations at number 24, before turning left onto Victor Street, making a right at Logan Street.
Left onto Mulyan to enjoy the lights at numbers 49, 43 and 15, before making a left at Kite Street. Homes at number 29, 64, and 84 are a must-visit, before stopping at 5 Lowan Place. Choose your own adventure to visit homes at 7 and 12 Henderson Street; see if you can pass 125 and 58 Lachlan Street along the way.
Make a right at the top of Macassar to 16 Scenic Drive, with the perfect spot for photos before stopping in at 47 Liverpool Street. Head south to 99 Taragala, before making a loop past 12 and 6 Darling Avenue. On Fitzroy Avenue, number 13 has a photo studio ready for family pics, with backdrops and even a selfie stick available, before heading to 80 Fitzroy Avenue, closing out a loop across town.
