Cowra’s Brady Kurtz is just 65 days away from making his Speedway Grand Prix debut in Landshut, Germany, on May 3.
His second Australian Championship win in January 2025 has him heading into his Speedway GP debut in top form.
Kurtz, the reigning Australian Speedway Champion, has been a dominant force in the sport, riding for Belle Vue in Great Britin, Dackarna in Sweden, and Wroclaw in Poland.
His breakthrough came in 2024 when he won the FIM SGP Challenge in Pardubice, securing his place in the 2025 Speedway GP series.
His journey to the world stage started in 2016 when he won the Australian Championship on his first attempt.

Germany’s biggest speedway club, Landshut, will once again host the Speedway GP at the OneSolar Arena, which made a long-awaited return to the series in 2024 after a 27-year absence.
The Bavarian venue, home to the Landshut Devils, has seen plenty of top-tier action, including the 2018 FIM GP Challenge and the 2019 FIM Speedway of Nations opener.
Speedway fans can expect another thrilling night as the 2025 Speedway GP series kicks off in Landshut.
Qualifying begins at 2 pm, with the race set to start at 7 pm.
