Cowra veteran golf started the 2025 point score this week going through until the end of November. 41 players took Part in the 9 hole Vets comp played from holes 10-18 in very warm conditions. The event being topped by John Jensen with 20 Pts. As usual the 18 hole pro comp was also played won by Michael Prescott with 37 pts. The highlight of the day being a hole in one on the Fifth hole by Emanuel Attard. The Saturday Stableford sponsored by the golf club attracted 68 players including 5 visitors. Weather conditions turned on the last couple of groups with a heavy downpour . David Thompson ( pictured) was one of these players but carried onto complete the round and win B Grade. We also saw the first week of the business house comp begin on Friday night with a monster crowd sticking for a meal and the raffles on Friday. A Big shout out to Cliff Dykes and Peter Kirwan for the promotional work being done around this.
