James and Gwen played a very uneventful game against Heather and Mona. James and Gwen scored the first blow, and gradually extended their lead until the end, pegging out with Heather and Mona on 17 (26-17). Both teams pretty much played their own game with very few attacks until the end when Heather couldn't resist a disrupting attack on perfectly placed opposition balls.

Jenny and Jan played Chris and Elaine. We had a very relaxed game with just a little competitive spirit around. We played a lot of very good shots based on the payer's tactics, leading to some excellent hoops. That little spirit leant on the side of Elaine and Chris, who pegged out with 26 to Jenny and Jan's 17.

Monday, 3rd of March:

Heather and April played the singles game. April has only played a few times and is progressing very well, and asks if unsure of what to do. The game finished at 10 o'clock with the score being April at 12, Heather pegging out at 26. Was a pleasure to play.

Anna and Jenny played against Carmel and Elaine. Anna and Jenny got off to a good start and at about hoop 4, the wheel fell off their game and Elaine and Carmel got ahead - but just for a while. Anna and Jenny pegging out at 26 to 19; a good and even game.
