Brady Kurtz has done it again after captaining Polish team, Rybnik to the Ekstraliga2 final in Poland alongside fellow Aussie, Rohan Tungate in a scintillating display that left their rivals in their wake and further confirmed Kurtz as the next big thing in motorcycle sport.
The Cowra rider also rides for a British team called Belle Vue Aces who also enjoyed success this season, and he has now tasted victory with both teams.
Klub Sportowy ROW Rybnik, also known as ROW Rybnik, is a Polish motorcycle speedway team based in Rybnik, which currently competes in 1. Liga. Rybnik is one of the oldest and most successful teams in Polish speedway having won the league championship on twelve occasions. ROW is one of the several clubs of the once united ROW Rybnik multi-sports club.
In even better news, Kurtz already has an action packed 2025 on his racing calendar qualifying for the Speedway Grand Prix.
The 2025 Individual Speedway World Championship Grand Prix Qualification or GP Challenge was a series of motorcycle speedway meetings held during 2024 to determine the riders that qualified for the 2025 Speedway Grand Prix. The series consisted of four qualifying rounds at Abensberg, Debrecen, Lonigo and Žarnovica and the Grand Prix Challenge at Pardubice. Preliminary qualification events included the Grand Prix qualifier in Denmark.
The four riders that qualified were Brady Kurtz, Anders Thomsen, Dominik Kubera and Max Fricke. These riders progressed to the 2025 Speedway Grand Prix, where they were joined by the riders who finished in the leading positions of the 2024 Speedway Grand Prix. There will be four places to gain via this year's Grand Prix Challenge and Kurtz was near the top of the pile again in a series of tremendous displays throughout the course of the year. At this rate, the sky is the limit for the young Cowra flyer!
