The Spring edition of Business House Bowls concluded on Thursday 28th November. The event was highly successful with the winning team again being G & B Autos, just ahead of the Clancy Smith Constructions team. 24 teams finished within 5 points of the winners. Congratulations to all that participated and many thanks to everyone that assisted in the running of the event.

Last Wednesday 4th December the Bowlers and Bowling Club had much pleasure in presenting a donation of $1,000 to the Cowra Community Chest, who are always grateful of funding to enable them to assist vulnerable people in our community. Many thanks to the volunteers at CCC.

Upcoming Matches and Events.

This Saturday 14th December will see John Bischof line up against Shaun May in what should be a closely fought Club Open Singles Final.

The Cowra Eagles Bowls Club will host a Pink Charity day on Saturday 21st December at 1.00pm, which is open to everyone, regular bowlers and non-bowlers, who would like to have a fun day of bowls. On the day we will also raffle 6 leg hams courtesy of Coles.

We would like to encourage anyone considering bowls as an activity to come along and join us on Sunday mornings to learn whilst having a bit of fun. This Sunday mixed social bowls will commence at 9.30am and will be our last Sunday morning bowls for 2024.
