WEDNESDAY 20.11

Alan and Robyn from WA came and played golf croquet with Gwen and Heather. We had a very friendly game, it was a pleasure to play with them. Luckily Gwen and Heather won both games.

Helen and Jan played James and Jenny in a long game, loads of balls were stuck in hoops, many misses and couldn't blame anything on anyone's play. We were off our game at times. We enjoyed this morning's play.

Elaine and Ana played a singles game, Ana pegging out and Elaine managing 19. A good game had by both.

SAT 23.11

Weather was fine but getting extremely hot before finish of play. Today we had a return visit from our visitors from Geraldton WA, Robyn and Alan. We played a singles of Golf Croquet with some weekly contested hoops by all. A good friendly game with the winner being Alan with a score of 6. Anna, Heather, Carmel and Robyn also managed to score a few hoops.

MONDAY 25.11

Carmel and Jenny had a singles game to practice our shots and tactics. Some worked, some didn't. As usual we had a good time. In the end, Jenny finished on 27 and Carmel came a close 2nd on 24.

WEDNESDAY 27.11

Very warm morning with six members playing. Helen and Elaine played Gwen and Jenny. We all had a difficult time being stuck in hoops, missing shots one after another. The final point count was 36 to Helen and Elaine and 20 to Elaine and Gwen - a good game.

James played Anna in what started out as an uneven game with James being well behind at one stage (his 'cunning plans' never seemed to work!), but eventually the game settled down and he gradually closed the distance until all clips were on the peg. Anna pegged one ball out and James then missed a vital shot, giving a very pleased Anna a 26-24 win!

MONDAY 2.12

Elaine and Carmel played Jenny and Heather, on a very warm and muggy morning. Heather and Jenny pegged out, 26 to Carmel and Elaine's 16
