The Cowra Eagles celebrated their presentation recently putting a full stop behind a season of mixed results for the club but plenty of highlights nonetheless.

In Men's First Grade, there were no surprises when star player Blake Tidswell took home the Best and Fairest while Cooper Sullivan won the Players' Player and Braydan Farrell-Gray the Coaches Award. Byron Sutherland won the Most Promising Player while Josh Chalker was the Most Improved.

In Seconds, Will Turner was Best and Fairest after a stellar season while Tom Hickman was Players' Player and Jack Bryant took out the Coaches Award as well as the prestigious Paddy Lamond Award. James Sando was the Most Improved Player for 2024. Tidswell also took out the Jack Berry Award for Most Valuable Player.

In the Women's Jess Burling was Best and Fairest after another strong year while Charli Stewart took out the Players' Player in a competitive field. Chloe Robertson got the nod for the Coaches Award and Olivia Parrish was the Most Improved Player for 2024 for the Women's.

In another positive on the night, Colin Kilby was recognised for his outstanding service to rugby with the Bill Rowlands Award in a fitting tribute to a man who had been a great clubman. Jack Druery took the Drew Russell trophy for Services to Rugby - Player while Kaitlyn Turner and Eliza Braddon were also acknowledged with the Graeme Proctor Award for Most Outstanding Club Person of the Year. Sally Cummins was the Supporter of the Year for 2024. President's Service Awards were awarded to Matt Pollard, Paul Druery, Charlotte Trindall, Stephen Overman, Troy Hayes and Ben Edwards.

Other milestones on the night included Jeremy Montgomery (250 games), Kane Schofield, Ben Eisenhauer, Jackson Moodie and Troy Jeffs all registering 100 games for the Eagles. Well done to all!
