The NSW Electoral Commission has announced that Cowra Shire Council alongside Berrigan Shire Council, Junee Shire Council and the Lachlan Shire Council will hold byelections on Saturday the 23rd of November to fill the casual vacancies.

A by-election for Cowra Shire Council must be held as there were fewer candidates nominated than the number of councillors to be elected at the 2024 Local Government

elections.

If you are eligible to vote in New South Wales and your enrolled address is in the Cowra council area, you must vote in this by-election. If you are not enrolled in or are

not eligible to be enrolled in the Cowra council area, you cannot vote in this by-election.
