The Upper Lachlan Bushwalkers have been making tracks.
On Sunday 11 August, six walkers enjoyed a beautiful sunny day out in the fresh air walking up One Tree Hill (Hall ACT).
This was a most pleasant 8.4km return walk to the lookout.
The atmosphere was amazing with abundant bird life, attractive flowering wattle and a few friendly kangaroos.
As well as the superb view from the top of the hill, the group was entertained by a para glider who we watched from the beginning of his set up till his safe and accurate landing in the cleared parkland below.
After the walk, the walkers had lunch at a local café in the village of Hall.
The Upper Lachlan Bushwalkers also have a number of future walks, with the teams meeting across the region.
