An 18 year old male has been airlifted to Orange Health Service after an accident on Canowindra Road at around 9:30 this morning.

An Ambulance NSW spokesperson said the young man suffered from a leg injury, cuts and abrasions after his van veered off the road and into a tree.

Officers from Cowra Police said the man is in a 'serious but stable' condition.
