Young minds get honours in Orange

The Tournament of Minds was held recently and CPS was awarded Honours for second place at the event.

Throughout Term 3, the very first CPS Tournament of Minds team has worked with Mrs Gibson and Mrs Perfect to put together their very creative response to a tricky STEM challenge – “Plastic Pollution”. The team collaborated to create a conveyor belt to remove plastic bottles from waterways and turn them into art! On Sunday 8th September, the team presented their final response in a drama at the regional competition in Orange and were awarded Honours ribbons (2nd place)! Congratulations to Spencer Meiklejohn, Nataliya Forbes, Bryson Lee, Jorja Kemsley, Hunter Robins-Sirol, Milton Cole and Beau Chittick and a special thank you to Mrs Gibson and Mrs Perfect for their amazing encouragement and coaching. What an incredible achievement!

Kindergarten Orientation!

Our third Kindergarten Orientation visit was held on Tuesday 10th September, and it was lovely to see our 2025 Kinders having fun, making new friends, and becoming more familiar with “big school”! We look forward to seeing them all again on Tuesday 24th September from 9:30am-11:00am, and then for a full day on Tuesday 22nd October!
