The 54 year long relationship between Cowra and Seikei will continue with Emma Haslam of St Raphael's Catholic School being selected to study at Seikei High School in Tokyo from January 2025.
Emma will leave in early January and embark on an incredible year of study at Seikei High School whilst being able to experience Japanese food, language and customs and making life-long friendships.
Emma is extremely excited to continue the incredible legacy of the Cowra-Seikei Exchange, being selected to be the first St Raphael's student to attend Seikei High School.
A student from Seikei High School will arrive in Cowra in late March 2025 to enjoy a year of study at St Raphael's Catholic School.
St Raphael's Catholic School is extremely honoured to continue the important relationship between Cowra and Seikei High School, started 54 years ago to develop a connection based on peace and understanding.
During the 80th Cowra Breakout Anniversary events, many past Seikei Exchange students were able to meet with current Seikei students to talk about the importance of the Exchange Program and the amazing experiences everyone has had.
We look forward to receiving updates from Emma during her trip of a lifetime whilst she is at Seikei High School.
