Cowra Showground has held the annual Family Fun Day, with Harness and Dashchund racing throughout the day.
With hundreds of patrons filtering throughout the day's events, they were kept well fed by Cowra Rotary serving up Breakout River Meats and an assortment of other goodies. There were market stalls, cold beverages and plenty to do for the kids. It was a fun-filled day celebrating top Harness Racing, the Dachshund Dash and the Mini Trots.
Driver and Trainer Amanda Turnbull took out the Tri Tech Refrigeration Cup at 3/1 on Racing Time in a great win for connections while Phoebe Betts got the chocolates in the Cowra Bowling Club Cup at 15/2 on Limbo Lilly in a tidy display.
Cowra's Dachshund Dash had also returned for a third triumphant year. Take a peek at a race so quick, one punter described the sausage dogs as greyhounds
