The social media page Daffy's Wise Words has raised $5,000 for Cowra Community Chest.
Melissa Precott, the local woman behind the page, honours the memory of her late grandmother, Daffy Cox, by posting videos about this amazingand quirky lady.
She now has a following all over the world, numbering over 300,000.
Each month, Melissa donates the proceeds of sales of stubby holders displaying Daffy and her sayings to local groups and charities as a way of supporting the Cowra community.
Cowra Community Chest supports Cowra Shire residents by assisting them with medical costs and has been doing so for 21 years.

Managed and run by volunteers, this local charity is a fine example of what can be achieved given dedication and hard work, backed up by many generous hearts.
